ESO: Jewelry Crafting Guide

ESO: Jewelry Crafting Guide

Jewelry crafting profession has been introduced to Elder Scrolls Online crafting maniacs in the newest Summerset expansion. This profession requires lots of tedious grind but once you are done levelling it up and researching all the traits you will unlock yourself access to the biggest game-changer since "Monster Sets".

To have access to the profession you should have Summerset expansion further. Altho you will be able to harvest jewelry resource nodes and purchase crafted jewelry from guild market you won't be able to craft, upgrade and change traits of your rings and necklaces.

Jewelry crafting gives you access to craft jewelry pieces for all existing sets, change their traits, upgrade their quality and research wide variety of new traits. All across Tamriel, you will notice new harvest nodes called "seams" spawning instead of metal nodes on rare occasion, those nodes will yield a new type of raw material, "dust" which can then be transformed into new crafting material "ounce". Materials scaling with "Engraver" passive go as follows:

  • Pewter – Levels 1-25
  • Copper – Levels 26-50
  • Silver – Champion Level 10-60
  • Electrum – Champion Level 70-140
  • Platinum – Champion Level 150-160

There are a total of nine new traits to be researched (pre-Summerset jewelry pieces only had 3 possible traits: arcane, healthy and robust). Researchable items, however, are far less random as weapon or armour traits.

    • Increases Max Magicka.

Obtaining upgrade materials for jewelry crafting is way harder when compared to other types of craft. For example, when refining raw wood into a crafting material you have a random chance of obtaining one of the four upgrade materials, in case of jewelry crafting whenever you refine dust into ounce you have a chance of obtaining a grain of random upgrade material and 10 grains can be turned into a single bar which is the proper material used for upgrading your bling. Considering how rare the nodes are, upgrading crafted shinies to legendary quality will be quite a task.

You can gain jewelry crafting materials (and trait-research pieces) by performing crafting writs. To become eligible, you have to visit Felarian outsite the crafting district of Alinor (capital of Summerset). Once certified you can pick up a Jewelry Crafting Writs from Equipment Crafting Writ Boards. Jewelry crafting stations have also been made available at Faustina Curio and requires 125 Vouchers (along with "Jewelry Crafter" achievement) for the standard table and 250 for attunable one.

Shantro • 11 May 2020 Jewelry is always a nice choice, because every build and every character needs accessories and you can make all of them with a single crafting skill line. I made decent amounts of gold thanks to that fact back in the day. Reply

Hethonn • 27 May 2020 I swear I'm only using the main stat traits 99% of the time. The only exceptions are dodge-focused builds for PvP, when I go for well-fitted. Reply
