Hellgate - map

Hellgate has a specific map. Its shape resembles a pentagram - each corner is a possible entrance for participating teams. The spawn point is set randomly at the beginning of the fight, so there is no way of predicting starting place.

PvP and PvE combination

The main purpose of Hellgate is the rivalry between players. How do the mobs affect the whole team fights?

You cannot say that PvE feature is the game changer because it’s not. In fact, it makes a slight difference and maybe adds some content to the whole fight rather than change gameplay drastically. The whole Hellgate concept has been nicely introduced into the game, and also a combination of PvP and PvE is doing well.

The main boss and exit portal

How to start a fight with the main boss?

There are two ways of starting the final fight.

The main boss would spawn after several minutes from the entrance of the first team.

Killing minibosses gives you additional buffs that affect your stats, but killing them all should make the final poss appear.

*Killing all minibosses also affect in not letting other teams join the same Hellgate.

*(buffs gives player additional damage and improve health restoration).

After the final successful boss fight, the portal appears. The portal allows players to leave the Hellgate.
